Tonia Furniss-Roe is a native of North Carolina, born in Greensboro. She is a graduate of Guilford College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. Tonia joined McKinney Justice, Perry & Coalter  in 2001. She worked as a real estate paralegal until she was promoted to Office Manager in 2004.

Priscilla Almeida-Rankin

Priscilla Almeida-Rankin is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. Priscilla relocated to the United States in 2004. In 2007, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and in 2010 she obtained a Master’s in Spanish Literature from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Priscilla joined McKinney Justice, Perry & Coalter in 2007. She works in the Immigration Division, concentrating on business immigration and removal cases.

Lemlem Merga (Lilly)

Lemlem Merga (Lilly) was born and raised in Ethiopia until she was 16 years old. During May of 1994, she immigrated to the United States. She is a graduate of Middlesex County College in Middlesex, New Jersey, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Communication. She became a Lawful Permanent Resident in 2001, and will soon seek Naturalization. Lilly has been a paralegal since 1999, and has been working for McKinney Justice, Perry & Coalter  since 2003.

Norma Perez (Norma)

Norma Perez is an immigration paralegal in our Wilmington office.  She was born and raised in Homestead, Florida.  At the age of 17 years old, she relocated to Wilmington, NC.  Norma is fluent in Spanish and participates in many community and pro-bono events.  She is a graduate of Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology. Norma has been working as a paralegal since 2005, and has been working for McKinney Justice, Perry & Coalter since January 2011.

Lucy Braga (Lucy)
Immigration Paralegal

Lucy Braga is a native of Recife, Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and has been working with Immigration Law since 2003. Lucy graduated from Law School in 2002, in Recife, Brazil. She immigrated to the US in 2003 and became a US Citizen in October 2009. She came to McKinney, Justice, Perry & Coalter, PA in January of 2010 and works with Humanitarian and Removal cases.

Briana Miller is an immigration paralegal in our Greensboro office.  She was born and raised in Michigan. She is fluent in Spanish and graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Major in International Studies (Latin America) with a minor in Latino Studies. She has been working as a paralegal for McKinney Justice, Perry & Coalter since April 2011.

Jonathan Ervin

Jonathan H. Ervin was born in Winston-Salem, NC and raised in Edenton, NC. Jonathan earned an AAS degree from Pitt Community College and transferred to North Carolina State University where he earned a BS degree in Horticultural Science. After working in the Horticultural industry for six years, Jonathan decided to pursue a career as a Paralegal, where he felt he could help others. In October 2005, while enrolled in the Paralegal Technology Program at Guilford Technical Community College, Jonathan joined our firm. Having earned an AAS degree in Paralegal Technologies, Jonathan is currently the Criminal Law Paralegal at McKinney Justice Perry & Coalter. In addition, he manages the office file systems.

Justine Goff

Growing up in Georgia, Justine decided to pursue a career in the legal field. Graduating Athens Technical College in 2008 with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, she began her career as a civil litigation and family law paralegal in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Upon moving to North Carolina, she became the civil and family law paralegal to attorneys Julia M. Pendleton and Rebecca Perry. Justine enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing and any outdoor activity. Giving back to her community, she is an active volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank and regularly volunteers at local retirement and nursing home facilities.

Paige Maree Wolfe

Paige Maree Wolfe was born and raised in central North Carolina. Graduating from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Paige began a career in sales in 2002. After three years in sales, Paige took an opportunity as a Real Estate Paralegal with a firm that acted as the closing agent for the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in 2006. Paige joined the McKinney Justice Perry & Coalter Real Estate Department in 2011. As the real estate department’s primary point of contact, Paige enjoys using her organizational and people skills to provide all parties involved in the firm’s closings with superior customer service. When Paige is away from the office, she enjoys being a mother and playing with her son, and reading novels.
